Session: Ground Improvement/Remediation

ABSTRACT: This paper presents results of ground vibrations measured on two projects where ground densification was performed with both conventional Dynamic Compaction, using a crane, and Rapid Impact Compaction using an excavator mounted hydraulic hammer rig. The gathered results permit a normalisation method developed for Dynamic Compaction and an evaluation of the effects of soils type and working methods on resulting ground vibrations.

RÉSUMÉ: Cet article présente lde compactage dynamique au moyen données obtenues ont permis et des méthodes de travail sur le niveau de vibrations généré.
