ABSTRACT: In this paper, various models proposed in the literature during the last four decades are summarized into three different groups based on the approach used for estimating or predicting the resilient modulus (MR) taking account the influence of soil suction or moisture content. One model from each of these groups is selected to provide comparisons between the measured and predicted or estimated MR values using three sets of published experimental data of widely used subgrade soils with similar soil properties. The strengths and limitations of the three selected MR models in this study are discussed and summarized.
