ABSTRACT: The new Austrian tunnelling method (NATM) mostly used in tunnels with large diameter that will needed multi stage excavation and lining. Especially in shallow soft ground in urban area , it will be used as metro or urban tunnel. In regard to multi stage excavation and preliminary lining , time spacing between excavation and sets the lining and hardening progress of shotcerte play vital role on surface settlements. In this research used hypothetical moudulus of elasticity soft lining approach to modeling the behavior of green shotcerte and effect of different loading and deeps on ground surface settlements by plaxises and compare the results with peck relation and correct the peck relation.
