ABSTRACT: The results of freezing point research are discussed for pure and saline - oil-contaminated soil in this article. Different methods and the latest equipment to obtain the data. These details which were obtained using various equipment were compared. The thawing thermogramms both pure and contaminated saline soils of different particle size distribution were studied. The dominant influence of salinity was revealed.
