Dans les comptes rendus d’articles de la conférence: GeoVirtual 2020: 73rd Canadian Geotechnical ConferenceABSTRACT: This paper investigates the effects of binder dosage (6%,8% and 10% wt.), binder composition (Portland cement and fly ash), and curing time (7,14, and 28 days) on the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of backfill materials. At each curing stage, density tests and UCS tests were conducted for each backfill specimens. In total, 72 backfill specimens were prepared by the cemented paste backfill (CPB) method. Consequently, the UCS and stiffness of backfill material increased with the increasing binder dosages. The addition of fly ash caused a notable increase in the compressive strength and stiffness of backfill materials. Also, the compressive strengths for all studied combination backfill materials increase with curing time.
